Day one was one of mixed results as the Exiles went through with one draw, one loss and one win against Chicago Lions, NYAC and NOVA respectively but was enough to see them through to the quarters with the highlight being there come from behind win over NOVA in the last pool game.

The game seemed to change after some punishing tackles from Tony Ongoro creating turnovers and the backline comprising of Chris Kombo,Dan Weku,Richard Mulaha and Ronn Omondi executed well to steal the game.

The semi final saw the Kenyans go down 24-0 to eventual winners NOVA who proved unstoppable with Seta Tuilevuka and three US eagles PJ Komognan, James Gillenwater and Derrick Wevomba in the backline.

At the end of the tourney, it is worth noting that the Exiles were without 6 starters - Leslie Mango - In kenya for trials,Eric Kiarie - out with shoulder injury, Kamo Lichaba - out with hamstring injury, Zeddy Akwanyi - unavailable due to work, Peter Ocholla- unvailable due to work and Victor Opong - unavailable due to work.

Kenya Exiles I line up comprised: Tony Ongoro, Misha Okutoi, Ernest Waweru,Chris Kombo, Ishmael Olewe, Richard Mulaha, Dan Weku, Ronn Omondi. Fan turnout was good as kenyans flocked the park and sang throughout the tournament, led by the eveready choir master Ger"Mabangi"Mijoro, each kenya game was filled with cheers and heckling and in the end the kenyans recieved a word of thanks from the organisers for making the tournament a joy both on and off the pitch.
